## Al Freej Fridge Campaign

Dubai's Al Freej Fridge initiative, in collaboration with the UAE Food Bank, is set to distribute two million cold drinks to workers throughout the city this summer. The campaign, supported by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives and UAE Water Aid, will provide chilled water, juices, and ice cream to those working in high temperatures.

## Targeted Workers

The initiative focuses on aiding sanitation workers, construction laborers, delivery riders, and landscaping staff, acknowledging their hard work under extreme heat conditions. The distribution will continue until September 3, aiming to alleviate the challenges faced by these essential workers during the hottest months.

## Community Involvement

The UAE Food Bank is actively participating by deploying field volunteers to assist in the distribution efforts. Additionally, the bank is coordinating with retail outlets, food manufacturers, and other partners to broaden the campaign's impact.

## Promoting Volunteerism

Manal Bin Yaroof from the UAE Food Bank emphasized the importance of supporting such humanitarian efforts, which align with the UAE's values of solidarity and compassion.
