## e& Completes Vodafone Stake Sale

Abu Dhabi-based e& has finalized the sale of its entire stake in Vodafone Group, securing proceeds of Dh21.9 billion, equivalent to $5.95 billion. This transaction marks a strategic shift for e&, allowing the company to concentrate on its core business areas.

## Details of the Transaction

The sale involved the transfer of 3,944,743,685 Vodafone shares to financial institutions including BNP Paribas Financial Markets, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, and Société Générale. The gross cash proceeds from this transfer amounted to Dh21.5 billion, or $5.84 billion, with shares priced at approximately 110.5 pence each.

## Final Dividend Payment

e& is set to receive an additional payment of 2.02 pence per share as part of Vodafone's final dividend for the 2026 financial year. This payment, due on July 30, is valued at Dh400 million, or $110 million, bringing the total proceeds from the sale to Dh21.9 billion.

## Strategic Focus

The sale aligns with e&'s strategic priorities, enabling the company to focus on its primary business operations while capitalizing on the value generated from its investment in Vodafone. The transaction was initially announced on July 10 under a binding agreement with Vega, an acquisition entity owned by the Niel family group.
