This equates to an average of over 10 new businesses launching daily, according to Dubai Municipality. The total number of food businesses in the emirate has now reached 29,303.

To ensure compliance with health regulations, Dubai Municipality conducted over 31,500 inspections during this period. These inspections are part of efforts to maintain high food quality standards and support a sustainable food ecosystem.

## Boost in Food Imports

Dubai also saw a rise in food imports, with over 144,000 consignments entering through various ports. These shipments included nearly 194,000 containers and over 840,000 food products, reinforcing Dubai's status as a regional food trade hub.
