## Regional Condemnation
The United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and several other Muslim-majority countries have strongly criticized recent Israeli actions at the Al Aqsa Mosque. The foreign ministers of these nations have expressed their disapproval of what they describe as provocative measures by Israeli authorities and settlers.
## Allegations of Violations
The ministers have condemned the incursions by settlers, led by extremist Israeli ministers, into the mosque's premises. They also criticized the raising of the Israeli flag and the erection of tents by Israeli police within the mosque's courtyards. These actions, they argue, violate international law and United Nations resolutions.
## Call for International Intervention
The group of nations is urging the international community to take a firm stance against these actions, which they believe undermine peace efforts and fuel extremism. They emphasize the need to preserve the historical and legal status quo of the holy sites in Jerusalem.
## Access Restrictions
The ministers have also highlighted the issue of restricted access to the Old City of Jerusalem and its religious sites, calling it a violation of international humanitarian law. They assert that these restrictions are an attempt to alter the historical and legal status of the area.
## Preservation of Holy Sites
The foreign ministers reaffirm their commitment to maintaining the sanctity of Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem. They recognize the special role of the Hashemite custodianship in overseeing these sites and stress that the Al Aqsa Mosque is a place of worship exclusively for Muslims.
