## Record Visitor Numbers

Ras Al Khaimah experienced a significant boost in tourism during the first half of 2026, welcoming over 670,000 visitors. This marks the highest number of visitors for the emirate during this period, with domestic arrivals increasing by 47% compared to the previous year.

## Domestic Tourism Campaign Success

The RAK Moments campaign played a crucial role in this growth, generating 224,000 hotel room nights and Dh104.4 million in revenue. The campaign attracted approximately 127,817 additional visitors, a 67.1% rise from the same time last year.

## New Developments and Hotel Openings

Ras Al Khaimah is set to expand its hospitality offerings with the opening of two new hotels in the latter half of 2026. Rotana Ras Al Khaimah The Mangroves will open in the third quarter, while SAIJ Mountain Lodge by Mantis will debut on Jebel Jais in the fourth quarter.

## Future Projects and Infrastructure

The emirate is also advancing several large-scale projects, including the Wynn Al Marjan Island resort, set to open in 2027. Additionally, Ras Al Khaimah International Airport is developing a new VVIP terminal, and transport links are being enhanced to improve connectivity.

## Economic Growth and Future Goals

Ras Al Khaimah's economy grew by 4.3% in 2025, reaching a GDP of $13 billion. The emirate aims to attract 3.5 million visitors annually by 2030, supported by ongoing infrastructure and tourism developments.
