Taiwan's Chou Tien-chen achieved a remarkable victory at the China Open, becoming the oldest men's singles champion in Super 1000 history at 36. The world number six defeated France's Toma Junior Popov in a thrilling final held in Changzhou, Jiangsu province.

## A Hard-Fought Battle

Chou clinched the title after a challenging three-game match, winning 21-15, 7-21, 21-13. This victory marks his first Super 1000 title since the Indonesia Open in 2019. The match lasted just over an hour, concluding with an emotional Chou celebrating on the court.

## Other Tournament Highlights
