## Strategic Partnership Announcement

Etihad Airways and Africa World Airlines have entered into a strategic partnership aimed at improving connectivity between West Africa and Abu Dhabi. This collaboration, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding, will involve codeshare agreements, cargo services, and loyalty programs.

## Enhanced Travel and Cargo Services

The partnership will enable seamless travel for passengers beyond Accra, Ghana, by integrating the networks of both airlines. Etihad passengers will be able to travel on a single ticket across Africa World Airlines' routes in Ghana and West Africa. Additionally, the agreement includes cargo cooperation, linking West African exporters to Etihad Cargo's global network.

## Expanding Opportunities

The collaboration comes as trade and travel between Ghana and the UAE increase. The partnership is set to begin on July 24, 2026, with phased implementation of various cooperation areas. Etihad plans to launch its own Abu Dhabi-Accra service on March 24, 2027, further enhancing connectivity.
