From classroom to space: Space42 opens new programme for Emirati students

## New Opportunities for Emirati Students

Space42 has introduced the "Future Spacers Programme," a 16-week training initiative aimed at Emirati students interested in space, AI, and STEM fields. This program, in collaboration with local universities and schools, offers participants a blend of academic learning and practical industry experience.

## Program Structure and Goals

Participants will engage in classroom-based learning and hands-on exposure to space operations at Space42 facilities. The program focuses on applying AI and data analysis to real-world space challenges, while also developing professional skills such as problem-solving and communication.

## Supporting UAE's Space Ambitions

The initiative aligns with the UAE's National Space Strategy 2031, aiming to build a skilled workforce for the country's growing space and technology sectors. By providing early exposure to industry practices, the program seeks to inspire future generations to pursue careers in these fields.

## Future Plans

Space42 plans to continue the program with new cohorts twice a year, ensuring ongoing collaboration with educational institutions across the UAE. This consistent engagement is expected to strengthen the national talent pipeline in space and AI.
