## UAE's Impressive Medal Haul

The UAE team showcased remarkable talent at the 17th Fazza International Open Championship, part of the 2026 World Para Athletics Grand Prix. The team secured a total of 31 medals, including 6 gold, 10 silver, and 15 bronze, finishing fourth overall. India, Colombia, and Kenya took the top three spots.

Mohamad Youssef Othman emerged as a standout athlete, clinching two gold medals in the men's 100m and 400m wheelchair T34 races. His performance was a highlight for the UAE team.
