## Company Response

In response to the criticism, Converse removed the ad from Instagram and issued an apology, acknowledging the distress caused by the image. The company expressed regret and committed to preventing similar issues in the future.

## Campaign Details

The ad was part of a global campaign launched on August 27, featuring South Korean singer Karina from the K-pop group Aespa. Converse, a brand with a long history dating back to the early 1900s, is currently owned by Nike.
