## Remote Work Recommendation

The UAE's Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) has advised private sector companies to adopt remote working arrangements where feasible. This recommendation is aimed at minimizing employee presence in open areas, except for essential roles that require physical attendance.

## Implementation Period

The directive is set to be in effect from March 1 to March 3, 2026. During this period, companies are encouraged to follow updates from federal and local authorities to ensure compliance and prioritize employee safety.

## Authority on Work Arrangements

Decisions regarding the suspension or modification of work arrangements remain under the jurisdiction of local competent authorities, who will act based on the evolving situation.
