## Etihad Rail's Resilience

Amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East, Etihad Rail has demonstrated its resilience by maintaining a steady flow of cargo across the UAE. Despite the regional crisis involving the US, Israel, and Iran, the rail network has successfully conducted over 100 freight trips in just nine days, transporting more than 459,000 tonnes of goods and over 7,900 containers.

## Strategic Adjustments

To ensure uninterrupted service, Etihad Rail has activated additional rail corridors and redirected multimodal capacity towards the East Coast ports, particularly the Al Ghail Dry Port terminal. This strategic move is supported by the operation of five extra train services, enhancing the efficiency and continuity of freight transport.

## Commitment to Reliability

Omar Al Subaey, CEO of Etihad Rail Freight, emphasized the network's role in supporting the UAE's logistics and supply chains. He highlighted the importance of a reliable transport network for businesses, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods. Etihad Rail remains in constant coordination with national authorities to maintain the continuity of its services, crucial for the UAE economy.
