Salik unveils Ramadan toll discounts to ease Dubai traffic

## New Toll Rates for Ramadan

Dubai's toll operator, Salik, has introduced a special pricing scheme for Ramadan 2026 to help ease traffic congestion. The new rates are designed to accommodate the unique travel patterns during the holy month.

## Peak and Off-Peak Hours

From Monday to Saturday, drivers will be charged Dh6 during peak hours from 9am to 5pm. Outside these hours, from 7am to 9am and 5pm to 2am, the toll will be reduced to Dh4. There will be no charges between 2am and 7am.

## Sunday Rates

On Sundays, the toll will remain at Dh4 throughout both peak and off-peak hours, except during public holidays and major events. As with other days, the toll will not apply between 2am and 7am.

## Purpose of the Changes

These adjustments aim to provide more flexibility for drivers during Ramadan, considering changes in commuting patterns due to fasting, evening gatherings, and altered work hours. The initiative is also intended to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion during busy periods.
