## Strategic Partnership for Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

LIFEPharma, the only USFDA-approved pharmaceutical manufacturer in the UAE, has announced a significant development in Abu Dhabi. The company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with AD Ports to establish a Dh700 million manufacturing platform at Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD). This agreement was formalized during the "Make it in the Emirates 2026" event.

## Expanding UAE's Production Capacity

The new platform aims to enhance the UAE's industrial capabilities by focusing on three main areas: vaccines, oncology treatments, and advanced injectables. The project is expected to create over 1,000 skilled jobs and significantly reduce the country's reliance on imported medicines.

## Economic and Strategic Impact

The initiative is projected to contribute Dh2 billion to the UAE's GDP over its lifecycle. It aligns with the country's "Make in the Emirates" vision and industrial diversification goals, supporting healthcare resilience and economic growth.

## Financing and Future Prospects

LIFEPharma has also secured a strategic financing agreement with Ajman Bank to support the project's development. This move is part of a broader strategy to strengthen the UAE's position in the global pharmaceutical industry and bring advanced medical treatments closer to home.
