## Burj Khalifa Honors India AI Impact Summit

In a surprise event, Dubai's Burj Khalifa showcased a massive image of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This display, featuring India's national flag, marked the India AI Impact Summit 2026, held in New Delhi from February 16 to 20. The summit, chaired by Modi, is noted as the largest AI gathering in the Global South.

## India's Vision for AI

The Indian Consulate in Dubai highlighted the display as a testament to India's leadership in innovation and emerging technologies. The summit's theme, "Welfare for all...Happiness of all," was also projected on the skyscraper, emphasizing India's global AI ambitions.

## High-Profile Attendance

Among the attendees was Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, representing the UAE President. During his visit, Sheikh Khaled met with Modi to discuss economic cooperation and investments. This visit coincided with the four-year anniversary of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between India and the UAE.

## Global AI Cooperation

The summit also saw participation from 58 countries, who endorsed a joint statement on responsible AI governance and cross-border research. This initiative builds on the framework established at the Paris AI Action Summit in 2025.
