## Tsunami Warning Update

Initially, a tsunami warning was issued for parts of New Zealand's west coast, prompting residents in low-lying areas to seek higher ground. Although the earthquake's magnitude was later revised from 6.3 to 5.9, authorities maintained a tsunami advisory, warning of possible dangerous coastal conditions.
